<p>Who we are:<br>Our client, Samsonite is the worldwide leader in superior travel bags, luggage, and accessories combining notable style with the latest design technology and the utmost attention to quality and durability. <br>Job Description<br>As a Junior Moldmaker:<br><br>You can independently assemble, disassemble, and maintain molds.<br>You make molds production-ready.<br>You are able to independently repair hydraulic cylinders, as well as make flexible hoses for hydraulic and gas applications.<br>As an Experienced Moldmaker:<br><br>You can fit molds.<br>You can apply simple sandblasting textures.<br>You are capable of performing fine mechanical work.<br>You can weld and finish visible forming parts.<br>In case of a mold defect, you will diagnose the issue correctly and propose and potentially implement mold-related improvements.<br>Occasionally, turning, milling, and grinding may be part of your duties. Internal or external training can be provided for these tasks.<br>Profile:<br><br>Bachelor's degree in electromechanics, with or without experience, or A2 mechanics with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.<br>A few years of experience in a production environment is a plus, even if it involves other machining operations such as turning, cylindrical or surface grinding, milling, or electrical discharge machining.<br>Technical insight and a passion for mechanics.<br>Basic knowledge of electricity.<br>Stress-resistant.<br>Willing to work in a two-shift system after the training period.<br>Offer:<br><br>At Samsonite, you can expect a dynamic and versatile work environment within an international context.
